Well, I’m a confessed Patagoniac… What’s a Patagoniac? A person who loves clothing from the company Patagonia (perhaps a little bit too much – but for good cause).
Socks: As far as I figure, they make just about the best socks on the planet… and when you find something you like, you should stick to it… The socks are made of a polyester (sometimes wool mix) material labled ‘Capilene’ and can be bought in four distinct thicknesses: Silkweight, Lightweight, Mid-Wight, and the thick ‘Expedition Weight.’
Shirts and Pants… If you’re buying anything cotton from Patagonia, its bound to be 100 % organic practices/certified (see the link for more details on buying organic cotton products). Not only are their clothes environmentally friendly, they are damn comfortable.

If you buy something with a Poly-blend, likely it is recycled plastic.

Of course, they make fleece and rain/wind/snow shells… which are durable, stylish, and lightweight.
The downside of Patagonia is that it can cost you a few pennies. However, along with creating stylish and attractive looking outfits, the items you are buying are quality garments ready for rugged adventure, business casual, or just keeping warm.
Patagonia does have retail locations under their name, and their products can be found in many outdoors and up-scale sports stores.

If you live in the Dallas Fort Worth area, you are somewhat limited in your options… there are a few stores to choose from…Arlington MOUNTAIN SPORTS, Backwoods Equipment Co., St. Bernard Sports, Whole Earth Provision Company, Mountain Hideout, and Blue Drake Outfitters. I like the Backwoods store the best, for their great sale prices, and wide selection. Currently, Backwoods has a sale that started today.
Ebay is about the best place to find a good Patagonia deal, just be careful you aren’t bidding against me!
Patagonia stands by their clothing with their ‘ironclad’ guarantee: "We guarantee everything we make. If you are not satisfied with one of our products at the time you receive it, or if one of our products does not perform to your satisfaction, return it to the store you bought it from or to Patagonia for a repair, replacement or refund. Damage due to wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge."
Dave... You should apply for a job, or something. But yeah, those socks are friggin' comfy. And that under shirt you gave me.

Personally, I'm partial to North Face gear... I'll leave the Patagucci-kitsch to The Dave.
